Sundance Film Festival

A part of all art is to make silence speak

Sundance film festival has become the largest independant film festival in the world. Every year over a hundred films are entered. They vary from small time productions to those that star the likes of Robin Williams to Jennifer Annistan and Nicole Kidman.

During one of our rare days off, Jason and I took in 3 films: Rain, XX/XY and Narc. The films varied in theme but all showed a different, cutting edge feel to them. They all seem to try new idea in camera angles, lighting and a host of other moving making options. All in all they were very enjoyable.

Sundance brings many big names and film fans alike to the small town of Park City, UT. Park City is located about 35 miles east of Salt Lake City.

Film promotion takes many forms for the different film festivals that take place here every year. As many know the Blair Witch Project was a great example of shameless Sundance Film promotion.
